Food Supplies

What is best for the fish is not necessarily what the fish eat most readily. Many aquatic foods manufacturers add ingredients to enhance flavor and claim that fish eat their food products better. However, we need to be aware that this is not necessarily an indicator of the food nutritional value. Another common practice is to artificially add colors and that adds no nutritional value except it just looks more appealing to the aquarist. In fact these chemicals may even be detrimental to the fish.
